The Phoenix Rescue Group | A Second Chance at Life

Welcome to The Phoenix Rescue Group!

The founders of The Phoenix Rescue Group have been doing rescue work informally for many The Phoenix Rescue Groupyears now.  We decided to incorporate as a non-profit organization in order to expand the rescue possibilities for those animals in need.

Our main priority is to provide immediate safety and comfort for companion animals that are in danger because of abuse, neglect or abandonment.  We will provide for their needs and work with other rescue groups to find permanent loving homes for them.

As funds allow, we will purchase humane dog and cat traps to help secure and relocate animals that are in dangerous situations.

If anyone reading this would like to help with these efforts, we would appreciate hearing from you.  We are in need of volunteers and foster homes as well as donations.

Marshall was found on Route 901 in Coal Township Northumberland County. He had multiple stab wounds and his throat was cut several times. He was taken to Sunbury Animal Hospital where he received immediate medical treatment for his wounds. See News Article
